Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / Intermediate Care Unit position requiring a minimum of 1 year of specialty experience and active CO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit (Step Down) in a hospital setting
• 32-bed unit managing drips and more acute/progressive care patients
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900–0730), 3 shifts per week
• Weekend availability required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• EMR: Epic (charting)

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) — both must not expire prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of Step Down / Intermediate Care / Progressive Care RN experience required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN minimum); BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including monitoring therapy and treatment plans
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents nursing care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• BSN is preferred but not required
• Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
