Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level I Trauma acute care facility, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and strong Siemens scanner experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a Level I Trauma designation, including high-acuity stroke cases
• CT Scan unit with Siemens scanners including Siemens Force, Definition 64 Slice, and AS20 with interventional package
• Charting performed in Cerner
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours/week)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience; Level I trauma and acute stroke experience is strongly preferred
• ARRT (CT) certification required per Department of Health mandate
• Current BLS certification required
• Extensive hands-on experience with Siemens scanners and Siemens syngo.via software required
• Strong IV start skills preferred
• Proficiency in CT post-processing required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging on high-acuity patients including Level I trauma and acute stroke cases
• Post-processing of CT images is a core responsibility of this role
• Candidates must be thoroughly versed in Siemens scanner operation across multiple platforms
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate
• RTO (time off) requests are strongly discouraged for this assignment
