Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 4 NICU experience for a night shift travel contract at a children's hospital.

Details

  • Position is based in a children's hospital NICU
  • Level 4 NICU patient population; cardiac PICU experience preferred
  • Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Every other holiday required
  • Unit operates on a self-scheduling model; schedule preferences are accommodated on a best-effort basis
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • RRT certification required and must be in-hand at time of consideration
  • Current VA state license required, or a valid out-of-state license with the ability to obtain a VA temporary license before the start date; license required if applicable
  • Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
  • Active certifications: BLS and NRP required
  • Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
  • Cardiac PICU experience preferred
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients in a Level 4 NICU setting
  • Former travelers must have a 12-month gap before returning to this facility
  • No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
