Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position working night shifts, with a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience and CRRT skills preferred.

Details

• Med-Surg ICU setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience preferred
• Telemetry experience required in addition to critical care experience
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required — pending licensure is not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience required
• Current telemetry experience required
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months required
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration

Additional Information

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO requests will be accepted
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
• Any gaps of 3 months or more in work history must include an explanation
