Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring prior travel experience, charge capability, and an active MA RN license.

Details

• 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a), 3 shifts per week
• Work in the ICU of an acute care hospital setting
• Floating required to Med Surg West 1 and West 3
• Equipment used includes Alaris pump, Cheetah, Nihon Kohden tele system, and Blanketrol II
• Epic EMR experience required
• No block scheduling permitted
• No on-call responsibilities
• Every other major holiday required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (current or conditional); NURSYS report showing all licenses past and present required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting required
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Charge RN experience highly preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 recent supervisor or manager references from ICU charge RN, manager, or supervisor roles required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics on file required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Completed skills checklist matching ICU specialty required

• Interviews conducted by IVS Clinical Services
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; no more than 5 days of RTO permitted
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply; a local pay rate applies for candidates within that radius
