Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) position in Brighton, CO, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of IMC experience.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in a hospital setting in Brighton, CO
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 7-week travel contract
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Charting via Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of IMC or intermediate care nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — must not expire prior to assignment start
• TNCC preferred
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for intermediate care patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapies directly or through delegation and supervision
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
