Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position in Kentucky, requiring 2+ years of LTACH experience and ACLS certification.

Details

• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:4
• Meditech EMR in use
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a on a rotating 36/48-hour biweekly schedule (alternating 3x12 and 4x12 weeks)
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active RN license — KY state or Compact license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of current LTACH experience required
• Background in MS/Telemetry or ICU accepted
• Valid Driver's License with address matching permanent address required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration: at least one Charge Nurse or higher, and one supervisor reference, both completed within the last year
• Middle name required; confirmation needed if none exists

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Rotating 36/48 schedule is mandatory; travelers who cannot commit to this schedule will be cancelled
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered, but must be disclosed upfront — no changes will be accepted after submission
• Must be available to work either a major or minor holiday each holiday period
• Travelers who have worked within this health system for one year or more must take a minimum 6-month break before returning
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis but will not be placed on the same shift or unit
• 13-week contract
