Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level II NICU position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Level II NICU at a hospital setting in Brighton, CO
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (12-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Epic EMR used for charting
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
- Required certifications (must be AHA and valid through assignment start): BLS, and NRP, ACLS, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for neonatal patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and delegated medical functions
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
