Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital in Washington, DC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and a DC RN license.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a 228-bed Level 1 Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting systems include Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required — pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Maximum of 1 RTO request for the duration of the contract
- Parking is the clinician's responsibility — options include metered street parking, hospital daily/weekly/monthly parking passes, and public transportation via Metro (Shaw/Howard University stop on the Green and Yellow lines)
