Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position at an academic medical center in Michigan, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • 13-week contract in a hospital PACU setting
  • 10-hour rotating shifts with start times of 10:00, 12:00, or 14:00 (latest shift ending at 00:30)
  • 2 to 4 weekend shifts required per contract
  • No on-call or float requirements

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of PACU nursing experience required
  • Two supervisory references required for consideration (charge nurse references are not accepted)

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions (religious or medical); candidates with allergies must receive the allergy-free vaccine option
  • Candidates who have been employed by this health system within the past 12 months are not eligible to apply
  • All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
