Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient contract at a critical access hospital in Oregon, with a focus on orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric rehabilitation.

Details

  • Outpatient physical therapy position within a 25-bed critical access hospital
  • Large, well-equipped outpatient therapy department offering sports and orthopedic rehab, pediatric rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, wheelchair seating, and neck, back, and extremity care
  • Additional exposure to acute and swing bed rehabilitation services
  • Standard treatment times of 45 minutes per patient
  • Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, no weekends
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon PT license required (license required if applicable)
  • BLS (Healthcare Provider level) certification required
  • Must be able to travel to multiple points of care

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.

Cons

Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.
