Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Torrance, CA, requiring AWHONN Advanced certification and a minimum of 3 years of L&D experience.
Details
- Night shift position, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Labor & Delivery unit within a 356-bed acute care hospital
- Floating required to Mother Baby unit, as well as between all Providence facilities within California
- Weekend availability required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
- Current certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Precepting skills preferred
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate
- Former permanent employees of a Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers are expected to float between all Providence facilities within California; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
- Block scheduling may be considered at manager's discretion
- Scrubs may be any color
