Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment, with Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 277 staffed beds
- OT Acute Care Hospital unit
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Float between all facilities within the state may be required
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Free parking available on site
Requirements
- Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience in an acute care setting
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in fall/risk assessment, billing, infection prevention, and functional activities
- Experience with acute and chronic disorder management
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- 16-hour orientation provided
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager's discretion
- Any requested time off must be disclosed upfront; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
- Scrubs may be any solid color; royal blue should be avoided
- Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Local candidates are accepted
- Travelers who refuse floating assignments may be subject to termination of their assignment
