Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Oregon, requiring active OR licensure, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting with high patient volume and acuity
- Full spectrum of patient needs and acuity levels
- Evening and night shift options available: 1400–0200, 1600–0400, or 1800–0600
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week; 36 or 48 hour per week options available
- Epic EMR required — no exceptions
- Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
- 13-week minimum contract length with potential for extension
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER/ED RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- TNCC certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity ED required
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience preferred
- Large hospital experience preferred
- COVID vaccination required — no exemptions
Additional Information
- Provide quality patient care across the full spectrum of emergency department needs and acuity levels
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial profile submission and cannot be modified after submission; additional RTO requests may result in cancellation
- Former staff must have been away from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- Travel pairs are accepted but must be disclosed at the time of submission
