Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Oregon, requiring active OR licensure, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting with high patient volume and acuity
• Full spectrum of patient needs and acuity levels
• Evening and night shift options available: 1400–0200, 1600–0400, or 1800–0600
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week; 36 or 48 hour per week options available
• Epic EMR required — no exceptions
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
• 13-week minimum contract length with potential for extension

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER/ED RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• TNCC certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity ED required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience preferred
• Large hospital experience preferred
• COVID vaccination required — no exemptions

• Former staff must have been away from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs are accepted but must be disclosed at the time of submission
