Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III Trauma, short-term acute care hospital, with first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a 244-bed, Level III Trauma, short-term acute care hospital
- Daily caseload of approximately 15 cases per tech
- 4x9 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- On-call required 1–2 nights per week with a 4:30–7:00 AM call shift window
- Every 3rd weekend on-call coverage required (Friday night through Monday morning)
- 30-minute callback requirement when on call
- Charting via Cerner McKesson and Cerner
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- State license required if applicable; pending state license accepted but must be active prior to start
- Current BLS required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment while assisting radiologists in minimally invasive procedures
- Rotates on-call responsibilities with the IR team
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- No parking cost
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
