Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in a hospital radiology/CT department.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, working in a CT/Radiology department
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 1–2 nights of call per week, typically Monday through Friday from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Friday night call extends to 7:00 AM)
• Weekend call coverage (Saturday 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM; Sunday 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM) is shared among staff only when the dedicated weekend CT Tech is unavailable
• Uses a Siemens Somatom Perspective 64-slice CT scanner with pre-built protocols
• Charting via Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required — candidates without CT certification will not be considered
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Role includes supervising and training another technologist
• The facility is located on the Oregon coast — housing options are available in the Coos Bay and North Bend areas
• 13-week contract with up to 3 shift cancellations permitted
