Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a night shift hospital Operating Room position, with Epic charting experience required and first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Weekday scheduled shifts are 10 hours; weekday night call shifts are 8 hours (23:00–07:00)
- Weekend scheduled and call shifts are 10 or 12 hours
- Up to 6 call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6-week schedule
- On-call requirements included as part of the schedule
- Epic EMR experience required — no exceptions
- Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of OR RN experience required
- Epic charting proficiency required
- COVID vaccination required — no exemptions
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be declared upfront and cannot be modified once the profile has been submitted — additional RTO requests may result in cancellation
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- Travel pairs are accepted and should be noted at the time of consideration
- 13-week minimum contract length; longer contracts may be available
