Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced PCU RN for a travel contract at an acute care hospital in Kansas, with Meditech charting experience and a minimum of 1 year of experience required.
Details
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a 149-bed acute care hospital
- Level 3 Trauma facility
- Patient ratios of 1:4-5
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 4x12-hour shifts per week
- 36 or 48 hours available per week
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
- No on-call responsibilities
- Block scheduling of more than 3-4 consecutive shifts is not available
- Meditech EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license for Kansas (KS) or a Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or comparable RN experience required
- IV start experience required
- Meditech EMR experience required
- PDF copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Free parking available on site
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
- All time-off requests must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment
