Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Multimodality) for a 13-week travel contract in Plano, TX, requiring ARRT(R) & (CT) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of X-ray and CT experience.

Details

• Imaging/Multimodality department serving both ambulatory and hospital patients
• Performs procedures across multiple imaging disciplines including X-ray and CT
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM
• 13-week travel contract in Plano, TX

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in X-ray and CT
• Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Active TX Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu shot required — no exemptions accepted
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to established exam protocols
• Responsibilities include patient positioning, radiation dose monitoring, infection control, sterile technique, and documentation
• Demonstrates proper use of iSTAT point-of-care testing for creatinine levels where applicable
• Uses AIDET communication framework when interacting with patients and families
• May serve as a preceptor for new team members or during new service rollouts
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
