Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Multimodality) for a 13-week travel contract in Plano, TX, requiring ARRT(R) & (CT) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of X-ray and CT experience.
Details
- Imaging/Multimodality department serving both ambulatory and hospital patients
- Performs procedures across multiple imaging disciplines including X-ray and CT
- 4x10 hour night shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM
- 13-week travel contract in Plano, TX
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in X-ray and CT
- Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Active TX Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required if applicable
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu shot required — no exemptions accepted
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to established exam protocols
- Responsibilities include patient positioning, radiation dose monitoring, infection control, sterile technique, and documentation
- Demonstrates proper use of iSTAT point-of-care testing for creatinine levels where applicable
- Uses AIDET communication framework when interacting with patients and families
- May serve as a preceptor for new team members or during new service rollouts
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
