Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring a minimum of 2 years of home health experience and proficiency with HCHB and OASIS documentation.

Details

Home health setting covering a territory within a 50–75 mile radius of the home clinic
Caseload of approximately 6–7 patients per day, with 30 points per week
Case types include Start of Care (SOC), follow-up visits, and similar home health services
Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
No weekend requirements
No on-call responsibilities
Charting performed in HCHB with OASIS documentation
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Requirements

Active RN license in Tennessee (TN) or a compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience required
Proficiency with HCHB and OASIS documentation required

Additional Information

Conduct home visits including SOC assessments and follow-up care across an assigned territory
Scrubs or business casual attire required
Local candidates are welcome to apply
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
