Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with dual responsibilities in CT and Diagnostic Radiology at a Level IV Trauma hospital in Cudahy, WI, requiring at least 1 year of hospital-based CT experience.

- 100-bed Level IV Trauma hospital located in Cudahy, WI, approximately 20 minutes from Milwaukee
- CT unit with dual responsibilities in CT and Diagnostic Radiology
- Department equipped with 2 CT scanners and McKesson PACS
- General CT patient population; no neurosurgery or cardiac cases
- 1:1 patient ratio
- EMR: Epic
- 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Weekend Program: Friday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM, Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Holiday rotation required
- On-call is not required; urgent situations only
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting, with most recent experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT and/or X-Ray) certification required
- BLS required
- Valid WI license required if applicable
- Experience with general CT procedures from a hospital setting required
- Epic EMR experience
- 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year required for consideration
- Candidate DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
- Candidate's middle name or initial required for consideration
Additional Information
- Dual-role position covering both CT scanning and Diagnostic Radiology responsibilities
- Department support includes imaging assistants, transport, patient assist, receptionist, RT, hospitalist, and telemetry monitoring/tech
- Toshiba Canon Aquilion experience preferred; GE and Siemens CT experience also helpful
- Orientation consists of new employee orientation plus 2 unit-specific shifts
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restrictions
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- Free surface parking is available on-site
- RTO requires nurse manager approval
