Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a Level IV trauma hospital in Missoula, MT, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA-certified BLS and ACLS.
Details
- 31-bed Acute Care unit in a Level IV trauma hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including small bowel obstructions, diabetic complications, wound care, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, and sepsis
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every third weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required as appropriate to experience
- Charting performed in Cerner EMR
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MT RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA-certified BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate's degree or higher required
- Proficiency in NG tube placement and management, Foley placement and management, and chest tube maintenance required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and adaptability are valued on this unit
- Scrubs required in any solid, non-fluorescent color
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
