Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU/Step-Down position in Urbana, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and Level 1 Trauma background.
Details
- Cardiovascular ICU and Step-Down unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes post-op CABG, vascular, and ICU-status patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Holiday coverage required on a department rotation basis
- No floating required
- Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include direct CVICU patient care, nursing assessments, care plan development and modification, nursing interventions, hourly rounding, and safety reporting
- Candidate selection involves an interview with the facility's leadership team
- Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 year continuously at this health system — a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
