Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring In-Patient Rehab, SNU, and Acute Care experience along with an active AZ license.
Details
- Hospital-based setting covering In-Patient Rehab, SNU, and Acute Care units
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend rotation includes 2 weekend requirements per schedule, either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
- Will float to acute care as needed
- Cerner EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapy experience required
- Experience in In-Patient Rehab, SNU, and Acute Care settings required
- AZ state license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include examining patients, developing treatment plans, and using techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
- May also develop fitness and wellness programs to help prevent loss of mobility
- Candidates must not have gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility
