Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a cardiac catheterization lab performing LHC, RHC, peripheral, structural heart, and EP procedures.
Details
- Works in a cardiac catheterization lab (CVT unit) on the 2nd floor of an acute care hospital
- 13-bed unit staffed by RNs and CVTs
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Procedures include left and right heart catheterization (LHC/RHC), peripheral vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology (EP)
- Equipment includes Philips and GE systems
- Documentation systems: Meditech and Mac Lab
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or until all cases are completed
- After-hours, weekend, and major holiday call required
Requirements
- ARRT, CRT, RCIS, or RCES certification required
- ACLS and BLS optional
- Minimum 6 months of cath lab experience within the last 6 months required
- Active certifications are required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates will be considered

- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
