Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring hands-on CVVH machine experience and an active WI or compact RN license.

Details

Hospital-based Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
12-hour shifts covering both day (0700–1930) and night (1900–0730) rotations
Every other weekend required
Some holiday coverage required
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact license with WI privilege required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Prior CVICU nursing experience required
Hands-on experience with the NextStage CVVH machine required
Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable unit preferred

Additional Information

Must pass a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start the assignment
13-week travel contract

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
