Description
American Traveler is seeking a Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week contract in California.
Details
- Acute care hospital echo/cardiac sonography unit
- Performs 2-D M-mode and cardiac Doppler, exercise echo, and TEE procedures
- Assists in preparation of contrast studies
- Day shift, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
- Rotational after-hours and weekend coverage
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of echo/cardiac sonography experience
- Prior travel experience required
- RCS or RDCS certification required
- Current BLS required
- CA license required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include entering charges for services, preparing reports, and performing clerical duties
- Provides after-hours and weekend coverage on a rotational basis
- Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
