Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and experience across a broad range of surgical services.

Details

Work in the PACU/Pre-op unit of a hospital setting
Surgical services include orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, pain management, ophthalmology, and endoscopy
Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (Mon–Thu, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM)
On-call responsibilities are required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
Minimum 2 years of PACU/pre-op RN experience required
Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
7-year work history verification required

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care in pre-op and PACU settings across a variety of surgical specialties
Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
Former employees or travelers may return without a separation period; former manager's name will be required on the application
RTO is limited to 7 days per contract; only one holiday may be requested off per contract
Holiday coverage may be required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (holidays begin at 7:00 PM the night before and end at 7:00 AM the day after)
Online onboarding modules (averaging 1–5 hours) are completed during orientation
