Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Neuro IR position requiring 2+ years of IR and neuro experience at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit with a focus on Neuro IR procedures
• Daily caseload of 4-5 patients per technologist
• Shift options of 5x8 hour days (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) or 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM-5:30 PM)
• On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week, with a 30-minute response radius
• No float requirement to other units or sister facilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR
• Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ACLS and CCI RCIS preferred
• AHA-issued certifications only
• Radiation badge required and must be supplied by the traveler
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Located at a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level 1 Trauma status
• Facility provides scrubs
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on position needs
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius, though non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for approval
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
• One shift per two weeks may be cancelled by the facility
