Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Neuro IR position requiring 2+ years of IR and neuro experience at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit with a focus on Neuro IR procedures
- Daily caseload of 4-5 patients per technologist
- Shift options of 5x8 hour days (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) or 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM-5:30 PM)
- On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week, with a 30-minute response radius
- No float requirement to other units or sister facilities
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR
- Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ACLS and CCI RCIS preferred
- AHA-issued certifications only
- Radiation badge required and must be supplied by the traveler
- License required if applicable
- Driver's license and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Located at a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level 1 Trauma status
- Facility provides scrubs
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on position needs
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius, though non-local candidates are prioritized
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for approval
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
- One shift per two weeks may be cancelled by the facility
