Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Gastroenterology Clinic position in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 2 years of GI nursing experience and an active CO or Compact RN license.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting specializing in pancreatobiliary and complex gastroenterology care
- Patient population includes those with conditions affecting the pancreas, swallowing, stents, liver, reflux, and other complex digestive health needs
- Schedule is five 8-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday
- No call and no weekend requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license, currently in good standing
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), card in-hand prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of GI RN experience required
- Previous RN clinic or ambulatory care experience required
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
- DOB or SSN required for consideration

- Provides care within a specialized GI clinic serving a community-based patient population
- CAPS background check through the state of Colorado is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
