Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Madison, WI, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a minimum of one completed travel contract.
Details
- Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
- At least one prior travel contract completed
- Valid driver's license required
- One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Contributes clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Local candidates in the Madison area are accepted
- Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel pay rates
- Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
- RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week and the Christmas/New Year's holiday window, regardless of holidays worked
- Candidates who have been employed by this health system within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
