Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience, specializing in OR C-arm and O-arm coverage in a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital setting.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient hospital setting within a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital
- X-Ray Tech unit with a focus on Operating Room procedures
- Procedures include C-arm and O-arm coverage for surgical interventions
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Schedule includes working every third weekend
- On-call shifts are required for this position
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
- Valid ARRT registration and RT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with C-arm and O-arm systems required
- Experience with Surgery/C-arm X-ray procedures required
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and OR settings
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted
Additional Information
- Provide C-arm and O-arm fluoroscopic coverage in the OR in support of surgical teams
- Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain equipment safety protocols
- Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
- Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
- All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as possible after booking; detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team
