Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Cannon CT System proficiency for an evening and overnight shift position at a community hospital in Buffalo.

Details

• Inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ER setting within a community hospital
• 2-room CT department with a daily caseload of approximately 50 patients
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs
• Shift schedule: Wednesday and Thursday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Friday–Sunday 10:30 PM–6:30 AM
• Every weekend is required
• No on-call requirements
• PACS experience required; IV start experience preferred
• Toshiba scanner experience preferred
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities may be required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Cannon CT System experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• PACS proficiency required
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, OR, and ER settings required
• License required if applicable; pending license accepted
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are accepted for this Radiology position
• Candidates who previously worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem must have been away for at least 3 months from their last shift worked
• Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
• RTO of no more than 5 days is preferred
