Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience performing both CT and X-Ray for an outpatient and ED setting, including adult and pediatric populations.
Details
- Outpatient and ED setting serving adult and pediatric patient populations
- CT procedures include Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction, and Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scores, and Perfusion Studies)
- X-Ray procedures include Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, and Upper/Lower Extremities
- Requires starting approximately 8–9 IVs per day
- Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS; Samsung X-Ray preferred
- Epic EMR; experience is mandatory
- 4x8 hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
- May occasionally be asked to float to other facilities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Must be proficient in both CT and X-Ray
- Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED experience required
- Current BLS required
- ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (R) required
- Experience with PACS, portables, and Siemens equipment required
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Proficiency with IV placement required
- Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
- Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of DL required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
