Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Missouri.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 422 staffed beds
- Cath Lab unit performing cardiac diagnostic and PCI procedures
- Structural heart experience preferred
- Patient ratio of 3:1
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required up to 2 days per week and every other weekend
- No floating within the facility or to sister facilities
- Epic and GE MacLab are used for charting and hemodynamic monitoring
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring cardiac diagnostic and PCI procedures
- National certification (e.g., RCIS or ARRT) and current BLS required
- Epic EMR experience required
- GE MacLab experience preferred
- Valid Missouri State License required for consideration; license required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Parking is complimentary
- No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation
- Permanent employees of this facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Standard travelers may remain for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
- Allied and non-clinical travelers may remain for up to 12 months, after which a 6-month break in service is required
