Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 5 years of RN experience and combined Labor & Delivery/Mother-Baby background.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit with Mother/Baby experience required
• 3x12 night shift schedule
• Required to work Labor Day and rotating weekends
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Meditech Expanse EMR used, with charting experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) currently in hand prior to start
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner
• RNC-OB certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby work setting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Strong charting proficiency, time management, and communication skills with providers

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units
• Function effectively as a team player with strong communication skills
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within an 80-mile radius
• Callouts of more than a week are not permitted
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
