Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with 1+ year of experience to work in a hospital-based Vascular Lab on a 4x10 day shift schedule.
Details
- Hospital-based Vascular Lab setting
- Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound exams across a full range of vascular studies
- Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability
- Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services
- Epic EMR — experience required for consideration
- Level 1 Trauma experience required for consideration
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- On-call rotation includes holidays, nights, and weekends
- Weekend shift rotation required
- Holiday coverage is negotiable
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant vascular technologist experience
- Associate's degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
- Current BLS (AHA)
- ARDMS (RVT) or CCI RVS certification required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs vascular ultrasound exams per physician orders and standing protocols, documenting findings to communicate with physicians on patient history and exam results
- Maintains imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment
- Responsible for proper cleaning of equipment and exam rooms between patients
- Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for 1 continuous year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any facility within the system
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
- Interviews are conducted by facility leadership
