Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring ARRT(R) or RCIS certification and a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting, with rotation across the Cath Lab, Stress Lab, and Nuclear Stress Lab
- Procedures include left and right heart cath, PCI, IABP insertion, pericardiocentesis, Swan-Ganz insertion, stress testing, nuclear stress testing, and implantable loop recorder
- Functions in multiple roles including radiology technologist, documenter, stress lab assistant, and nuclear stress lab assistant
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a rotating day off
- On-call is required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- ARRT(R) registration and active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable), OR RCIS in lieu of MD license and ARRT
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field, or equivalent occupational education
- Experience with comparable facility bed count (500+ beds) preferred
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology procedures
- Experience with pacemakers and peripheral procedures is preferred; Impella and IABP experience is also preferred
- Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate for this facility
