Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a Massachusetts license willing to float to PCU as needed.

Details

• 20-bed ICU unit setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• 12-hour day shifts on a 36 or 48 hour per week schedule
• Float to PCU as needed
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Block scheduling is not available for this position

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required in-hand prior to start, with no exceptions
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience required
• Required experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Willingness to float to PCU is required
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• BSN preferred
• Current Critical Care skills checklist (within 1 year) required for consideration
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration
• Candidate must have their own vehicle
