Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital diagnostic radiology setting, working night shifts on a Fri–Sun schedule.

Details

• Hospital-based diagnostic radiology department
• Procedures include general X-rays, fluoroscopy, and specialized radiographic examinations
• Night shift schedule: Friday through Sunday, 8:30 PM – 9:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Active KY state licensure required (license required if applicable)
• BLS required
• Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Technology Program required (military training graduates with active ARRT certification are also eligible)
• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and radiation safety practices
• MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging services including general X-rays, fluoroscopy, and specialized procedures per physician orders and established protocols
• Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, radiation safety, image quality review, documentation in EMR/RIS, and collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize ionizing radiation exposure for patients and staff
• Conducts quality control tests on radiographic equipment to ensure regulatory compliance
• Prior hospital or medical imaging facility experience preferred but not required — entry-level candidates will be considered
