Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with experience in both CT and X-ray modalities for an evening-shift position at a pediatric hospital in Richmond, VA.

Details

Position is based in a pediatric hospital setting within the CT unit
Multimodality role requiring proficiency in both CT and X-ray
Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum of 12 months of recent experience in both CT and X-ray modalities; 2 years preferred
Current BLS certification required
Valid state license required, if applicable
2 professional references at the supervisor level or above required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 6 months
This is a drug and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted on campus
The facility enforces a natural nail policy
Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests should be disclosed upfront
Holiday coverage is expected

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
