Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit (Zayed 11 West) with telemetry experience and pre/post-operative surgical care background, working nights at a large academic medical center.
Details
- Surgical/Urology/Thoracic inpatient unit (Zayed 11 West) within a large academic medical center
- Two levels of care: adult inpatient acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
- Pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care provided on the unit
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of current RN experience
- Telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience required
- Pre- and post-surgical nursing experience required
- Experience in a facility with 500+ beds required
- Current BLS certification required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- At least 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
- Candidates with 1–2 prior travel assignments are preferred
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
