Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Oregon, requiring ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications with every other weekend availability.

Details

Emergency Department setting providing care for patients ranging from non-critical to emergent medical conditions, including emergent and urgent mental health care
Patient population includes walk-in patients and those arriving by emergency transport
Staff are certified to care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including pediatric patients
Variable shift schedule with every other weekend required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS (Healthcare Provider level), ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
All required certifications must be in hand prior to consideration — no exceptions will be made

Additional Information

Provides nursing care across the full acuity spectrum, including critical cardiac, trauma, and pediatric emergencies

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.

Cons

Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything.
