Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of cath lab experience and RCIS or RAD certification for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Works in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
• Procedures include structural heart, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary, and peripheral vascular interventions
• Performs both scrub and monitoring duties utilizing catheterization and radiology imaging equipment
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Call requirements include one weekday per week and one weekend per month (Friday 3:30 PM through Monday 6:30 AM)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital setting
• RCIS or RAD certification required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Ability to scrub and pan peripheral and diagnostic procedures
• US SSN required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Active license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs scrub and monitoring duties while applying prescribed procedures for radiology imaging equipment operation
• Experience in additional specialties beyond cath lab is a plus
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Strong ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities is required
• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required
