Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift long-term assignment covering emergency department, critical care, and general floor patients.

Details

  • Respiratory Therapist role covering Emergency Department, Critical Care, and General Floor units
  • Patient population includes adults, children, and nursery patients
  • Performs vent, Bipap, and Hi Flow management, blood gas analysis, and respiratory medication delivery
  • Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • Works every other weekend with no block scheduling
  • No on-call requirements
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • RRT preferred
  • PA Respiratory License required if applicable
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
  • Ability to perform all aspects of respiratory care across multiple patient populations

Additional Information

  • Provides respiratory care services across ED, critical care, and general floor settings
  • Galaxy/royal blue scrubs required for dress code
  • Facility maintains a tobacco-free campus and substance abuse/drug-free workplace policy
  • No RTO permitted between September 1 and November 15 due to an EPIC system conversion
