Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift long-term assignment covering emergency department, critical care, and general floor patients.
Details
- Respiratory Therapist role covering Emergency Department, Critical Care, and General Floor units
- Patient population includes adults, children, and nursery patients
- Performs vent, Bipap, and Hi Flow management, blood gas analysis, and respiratory medication delivery
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Works every other weekend with no block scheduling
- No on-call requirements
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- RRT preferred
- PA Respiratory License required if applicable
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Ability to perform all aspects of respiratory care across multiple patient populations
Additional Information
- Provides respiratory care services across ED, critical care, and general floor settings
- Galaxy/royal blue scrubs required for dress code
- Facility maintains a tobacco-free campus and substance abuse/drug-free workplace policy
- No RTO permitted between September 1 and November 15 due to an EPIC system conversion
