Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit (Zayed 11 West) position requiring telemetry experience and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience on nights.
Details
- Work on a surgical/urology/thoracic inpatient unit in a large academic hospital setting
- Unit provides two levels of care: adult inpatient acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
- Provides pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
- Telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience required
- Pre- and post-surgical nursing experience required
- Experience in a comparable large hospital setting (500+ bed facility) required
- Current BLS certification required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
- 1–2 prior travel assignments preferred
- Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
