Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Lawton, OK, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Hospital-based Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Standard patient ratio of 2:1, with occasional 3:1 assignments
- Floating required, including to the ED to cover holds and Med/Surg at a 5:1 ratio
- Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week
- 5 weekend days required every 6-week period
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license for Oklahoma (Standard or Compact) required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Willingness and ability to float is required
Additional Information
- Provides critical care to seriously ill patients, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, complex procedures, and rapid response to emergencies
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- No more than 5 days of time off (RTO) may be requested during the contract
- Candidates requesting more than 7 days off, seeking more than 50% of holidays off, or with negative background or employment history may experience extended processing timelines
- All compliance documentation must be submitted one week prior to the start date
