Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Coos Bay, OR, requiring 2 years of ED experience and active certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Details
- Hospital emergency department setting in Coos Bay, OR
- 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
- On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required (must be willing to obtain prior to start if not yet active)
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC (must be willing to obtain prior to start if not yet active)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
- Up-to-date skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration
- Updated resume required for consideration
Additional Information
- Applies the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Responsible for patient and family education and thorough documentation of care in the medical record
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
