Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient position in Iowa, with Epic EMR experience preferred.

Details

Outpatient physical therapy setting treating deconditioned, post-op, and post-hospitalization patients
Epic EMR is used; experience preferred
New orientation cohorts begin every Monday

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
Active Iowa state PT license required at time of consideration; Iowa compact license accepted — license required if applicable
Active BLS (AHA) certification required
Valid driver's license required for consideration
One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Completed skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
At least 1 prior travel contract completed is preferred
Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
RTO during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods is limited to 1 day per window

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
