Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a rural community hospital in Hawaii, requiring a current HI RN license and a minimum of 4 years of L&D experience.

Details

• Rural community hospital setting in Hawaii
• Labor & Delivery unit covering L&D, LDRP, Nursery, Obstetrics, and Post-Partum care
• Couplet care experience required for this role
• Facility averages approximately 45–50 deliveries per month
• Scheduled for 72–80 working hours per two-week pay period
• 12-hour night shifts
• May float to assist other departments in a support capacity, not as a primary nurse
• Charge nurse duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license currently in hand — this is a firm requirement
• Minimum 4 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring skills required
• Couplet care experience required
• L&D and Nursery experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include L&D, nursery, and couplet care in a rural community hospital environment
• May be assigned charge nurse duties on occasion
